Hobart Meat Grinder

I make this often for breakfast, just plain sweet sausage and rice. I was thinking of maybe steaming some vegetable/s into the rice to add to the meal and make it more healthy. What vegetables could I add?

Chinese sweet sausage are just a sweeter flavorful sausage.

I just posted this question and got a lot of very positive responses (thanks, guys), but I forgot to mention that the sauce has MEAT in it (ground beef, to be precise), and that might chance things, so let’s try again:

I’ve had some made-from-scratch spaghetti sauce with ground beef in it sitting in my freezer for a while now. I’d like to have it for dinner tonight, but I’m not sure how long it’s been in there – at least a month and a half, and maybe more. Is it still good to eat? Is there a test I could run to determine this? I don’t see anything growing on it, and it still smells good…
Do I understand from your answers that, now that I’ve thawed it, I’d better eat it all now, because anything I refreeze won’t be edible if I chose to thaw it again?

Without fail, every single time that I defrost my meat (chicken or ground beef) in the microwave on a low defrost (2-3 minutes at a time) it cooks my meat a little. I am sick of it! Why is this happening and how an I stop it?

I’m a total noob at cooking but i need to learn how, it would be great if i knew how to determine whether ground beef (or any kind of meat for that matter) is done, because making raw hamburgers sounds like a giant waste of time. Thanks!
